About House of Peru 

I am proud to be elected president of House of Peru -- a 501(c)3 charitable non-profit organization founded in 2004 to celebrate and raise awareness of Peruvian culture within the San Diego community and promote tourism to Peru. 

Niñotecas (Library for Kids) in Peru 

Three Niñotecas (Library for Kids) have been opened already in Lima. The Niñotecas focus on implementing educational and cultural spaces in vulnerable areas of Peru. The “Library for Kids” carries books, musical instruments, board games, painting easels, early childhood toys, etc. -- all in a nice and cozy place. 

Museo House of Peru (The Cottage) 

On July 31, 2021 we officially opened our new House of Peru cottage to the general public in Balboa Park (San Diego, California). Our cottage serves as a center for Peruvian culture, tourism, arts, music and commerce for Peruvians and international visitors. The cottage is the only one of its kind in the world, outside of Peru, that promotes Peruvian culture and traditions.
